We conduct four to seven formal meetings during the year on the third Friday of the month.
Besides the business portion of each meeting we have featured guest speakers, roundtables or other informative and entertaining programs revolving about the many aspects of dog ownership
in general and the Siberian Husky in particular. Click on Club
Information for directions to our meetings.
Some of our past programs have included talks
by local veterinarians
on canine genetics, aging and reproduction; the wolf, its role in Nature and
efforts to preserve it; Siberian Husky form and function; proper grooming of a
Siberian Husky. We have had presentations on
pet medical insurance and on wolves (with live wolves). Representatives
from the AKC, ADOA and NAIA have also provided us with interesting and informative
forums.
Our membership consists of individuals from the Skylands country
in northern New Jersey to the Delaware Bay area in the south, as well as
from Pennsylvania, Virginia, Louisiana and several other states. All
of us share a love of this wonderful breed, and we encourage our fellow Siberian
Husky fanciers to come out and join us in learning more about and promoting the
All-Around Dog:
THE SIBERIAN HUSKY.
